Cory Collins is a co-owner of Florida Standard Plumbing, proudly serving Southwest Florida with reliable, high-quality plumbing solutions.

Born and raised in Poughquag, New York, Cory moved to Florida at age 15 with his family, drawn to the Sunshine State’s year-round boating lifestyle and beautiful waterways. This relocation perfectly aligned with his lifelong passion for the outdoors and the water, setting the stage for a life of adventure and service.

Following high school, Cory answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he spent six years on active duty. His naval career took him on deployments around the world, building discipline, leadership skills, and a deep sense of commitment.

After honorably completing his service, Cory utilized his GI Bill to pursue higher education at East Tennessee State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. This combination of military experience, education, and a genuine love for Florida’s coastal environment led him to the plumbing industry—where precision, problem-solving, and customer care are essential.

Today, as co-owner of Florida Standard Plumbing, Cory brings the same dedication and work ethic from his Navy days to every job. He and his team are committed to delivering exceptional service, whether it’s routine maintenance, emergency repairs, or complex installations, always with integrity and a focus on keeping Southwest Florida homes and businesses flowing smoothly.

When he’s not helping to solve plumbing issues, Cory cherishes quality time with his beautiful family. Their energetic 1-year-old rescue German Shepherd, Laila, runs the house and is the undisputed center of attention—bringing endless joy, playful chaos, and plenty of tail-wags to their home.

When he’s not with his family, Cory can often be found on the links, playing golf with his very close group of golf buddies. Whether it’s a sunny round in Naples or a friendly competition in another part of the state, these outings provide the perfect balance of relaxation, camaraderie, and friendly competition amid Florida’s stunning courses.

Cory’s life reflects a blend of service, family, adventure, and the simple joys that make Southwest Florida feel like home.

Ryan | Co-Owner/Operator

Ryan, co-owner of Florida Standard Plumbing, brings years of hands-on experience, precision, and a strong commitment to doing things the right way. Originally from Connecticut, Ryan made the move to Florida in 2019, drawn by opportunity, sunshine, and the people who had become family.

Ryan got his start in plumbing back in high school, working his way starting as an apprentice earning a P1-Master licensed plumber at the age of 20. From the beginning, he developed a deep respect for the trade and a sharp attention to detail that continues to set his work apart today.

Driven by a desire to treat people right and deliver quality work the first time, Ryan co-founded Florida Standard Plumbing with a simple mission: no job is too small, and no job is too big. He takes pride in every project, with his biggest measure of success being a satisfied customer.

Ryan understands the unique challenges of plumbing in Florida—from harsh water conditions that impact piping to the wear and tear caused by the local environment—and uses that knowledge to provide reliable, long-lasting solutions.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time on the water, watching his nephew play baseball, and cheering on his niece at horseback riding events. For him, both in business and in life, the sky is the limit—and that same mindset is what he brings to every job and every customer.

Brady | Foreman

Brady brings over six years of hands-on plumbing experience and a strong passion for problem-solving to the Florida Standard Plumbing team. Originally from Oklahoma, he made the move to Florida to join a friend in the trade and quickly found his calling when he started working under Ryan.

Since then, Brady has continued to develop his skills and knowledge, taking pride in tackling everything from full home repipes to large cast iron replacements. He enjoys the technical side of plumbing and takes satisfaction in diagnosing issues and delivering long-lasting solutions that customers can rely on.

Brady is known for his easygoing personality, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing the job right the first time. He values honesty and makes sure every customer feels comfortable and informed throughout the process.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Brady relaxing at the pool or beach, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying a round of golf or a game of bowling. He believes in treating customers like family—because to him, people always come first.
